Bat surveys at Five Forth Valley Hospitals
The Wildlife Partnership was commissioned in 2012 to carry out bat surveys at five hospitals
scheduled for demolition throughout the Forth Valley. Survey methodology included full daylight
building inspections in conjunction with targeted dawn and dusk activity surveys. A detailed building
report was quickly prepared for each site, including advice on protected species legislation,
mitigation and enhancement, ensuring that applications could be progressed through the planning
system in a timely fashion.
